We keep this simple. We only collect the details you choose to send us so we can reply to your enquiry and quote your job. We do not sell or share your information, and you can ask to see or delete it at any time.

This policy explains how Heat Pumps Queenstown handles the personal information you give us through this website. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the information privacy principles in it.
What we collect
We only collect the details you enter into our quote or contact form. That is your name, phone number, email address and suburb, and whatever you write in the message about the work you want done. We do not ask for, or want, anything more than that.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry. That means contacting you to talk through your job, arranging a site visit, and preparing and sending you a quote. If you become a customer, we use the same details to carry out and support the work.
How your information is handled
- We do not sell or trade your information. Ever, to anyone.
- We do not share it except where it is genuinely needed to do the work you have asked for, such as ordering the right unit, or where we are required to by law.
- Form submissions are sent to our own email at info@heatpumpsqueenstown.nz through a handler on our own domain, not a third-party marketing service.
- We keep it only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and meet any legal or tax obligations, then we remove it.
Cookies and analytics
This is a simple static website. It does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how many people visit, that information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Just get in touch and we will sort it out, usually straight away. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
